导出博客文章Running backs Jalen Richard and Spencer Ware and tight end Jack Doyle highlighted an opening Sunday for fantasy football that had far less chaos and surprise than previous opening weekends. While theres less to learn long-term from 2016s opening frame, theres still plenty for fantasy owners to consider:---INJURIESChargers wide receiver Keenan Allen injured a knee in the second quarter Sunday against the Chiefs and was placed on season-ending injured reserve Monday. Its a crushing blow for both fantasy owners (Allen was a consensus second-round pick who already had six catches for 63 yards when he went down) and anyone with a sense of humanity (Allen has been sidelined before in his career by a litany of injuries). Fantasy owners may want to consider Allens presumed replacement on the waiver wire, Dontrelle Inman. In just eight career starts, Inman has five games of 75 or more receiving yards.Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III also will miss at least eight games after breaking a bone in his left shoulder. Josh McCown becomes the Cleveland starter while Griffin is out.Other injuries to keep an eye on this week: Russell Wilson, Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu as they deal with ankle injuries.---FUN WITH SNAP COUNTSTwo quick things to look at when the dust settles on a football week: targets for wide receivers and running backs, and Nathan Jahnkes Twitter account (PFF-NateJahnke ). The director of analytics at Pro Football Focus, Jahnkes feed is brilliant on Sundays, sharing snap counts for nearly every team, revealing to fantasy owners which players were in the game for the most plays.Interpreting some nuggets from Jahnke this week:- Patriots receiver Chris Hogan had the second-most snaps of all the teams receivers (56), suggesting his usage is very real.- Seahawks running back Christine Michael saw more snaps (52) than Thomas Rawls (22), which might continue for a couple weeks as Rawls works his way back from injury.- Despite two touchdowns for Chargers running back Melvin Gordon, he was badly out-snapped (50-23) by Danny Woodhead, meaning the big fantasy day may be tougher to replicate if his play is limited.- Tevin Coleman had the bigger numbers, but Devonta Freeman still out-snapped him, 36-32. Still, the pendulum can swing either way for Atlanta.- Victor Cruz played 49 snaps to Odell Beckhams 55 and Sterling Shepards 53, which likely means hell continue to be a big part of the Giants offense.---FLY EAGLES FLYThe Eagles may be the team offering the most long-term fantasy impact given standouts the first week.Jordan Matthews (14 targets, seven receptions, 114 yards, and a touchdown) and Nelson Agholor (5/4/57/1) were two of the more overlooked receivers this draft season. But with the Chip Kelly regime gone and a talented rookie quarterback in place in Carson Wentz, the offense looked more traditional, and Matthews and Agholor fit right in.Fantasy players expected good things from Ryan Mathews (22 attempts for 77 yards and a touchdown) and Zach Ertz (six catches for 58 yards) and we got our five targets to Darren Sproles. But Matthews and Agholor were a welcome surprise.---WILL FULLER GETS HIS OWN SECTIONQuickie version: hes worth adding if you can.The Texans rookie receiver had five receptions on 11 targets for 107 yards and a touchdown. And the numbers would have looked even better had he not dropped a long pass at the end of the first half.Fuller had a sparkling preseason and earned raves from his coaches. But as exciting as the debut was for Fuller, would-be fantasy owners should note two small caveats: the Chicago secondary hasnt been great in years, and Fuller is a speedy wideout who may only catch half of his targets, including one or two receptions of the 40-60 yard variety.Hes better than the boom-or-bust label on a week-to-week basis -- and could compare favorably with players like Martavis Bryant or Mike Wallace (non-Vikings version). Fuller is worth a fantasy add (and will likely be one of the most-added players across all fantasy leagues), but he may have a few three-point games as the season unfolds.---IS JOE FLACCO A TOP 12 QUARTERBACK?Yes.---This column was provided to The Associated Press by the Fantasy Sports Network,

He bettered that with a long-range blast that went in off the goal frame in the 18th, and converted a penalty in the 72nd after Diego Mainz was sent off for fouling Aduriz with only the goalkeeper to beat. RIO DE JANEIRO -- Simone Biles felt her right foot slip. Then her left.As she reached down to steady herself on the balance beam -- her first visible misstep during an astonishing Olympics that includes three gold medals and some of the most boundary pushing gymnastics ever -- one thought ran through her head.Wow, Simone, thats five-tenths, Biles said. And thats it. Nothing more. Sure, winning a record five gold medals in Rio de Janeiro would have been cool. Yet going 5 for 5 was always somebody elses deal. It wasnt hers. Her only regret in earning bronze during the beam final on Monday centered on those five seconds when she found herself scrambling trying to recover from a wobbly landing following a front flip.Im not disappointed in the medal that I received because anyone would love to have a bronze at an Olympics Games, Biles said. But Im disappointed in the routine that I did and not so much the whole entire routine, just the front tuck I guess. Because the rest of the routine was pretty good.Even if it wasnt quite good enough to stand atop the podium for once. Her score of 14.733 ended up well behind the 15.466 put up Sanne Wevers of the Netherlands and the 15.333 Final Five teammate Laurie Hernandez posted while grabbing silver. Biles wont leave Brazil with five golds -- something no female gymnast has ever done -- and shes totally OK with it.I think you guys want it more than I do, Biles said matter of factly. I just want to perform the routines that I practice.Biles will get one more shot Tuesday in the floor exercise final, where a victory would let her join Larisa Latynina, Vera Caslavska and Ecaterina Szabo as the only women to win four golds during an Olympic meet. Its heady territory for a 19-year-old, one who couldnt help but sigh as the admitted perfectionist waited for her score to flash. She wasnt happy with it, coach Aimee Boorman said. She doesnt like to make mistakes. Its life and it happens and yes, she is human.Even if Biles had nailed her routine, theres no telling if she would have matched Wevers and Hernandez. Wevers was stunning while working across the 4-inch slab of wood 4-feet off the ground, calling it the performance of her life, one that ended with a hug from Dutch King Willem-Alexander and a phone call from the prime minister. To be out there and do my best routine ever in such a big final was amazing, Wevers said.It needed to be for Wevers to edge Hernandez. The 16-year-old is the youngest member of the Final Five tthat have turned the Rio Olympic Arena into a showcase highlighting the widening gap between the U.dddddddddddd.S. womens program and the rest of the world. Yet she hardly looked overcome by the moment as she dazzled on her favorite event while securing a seventh medal for the American women.Im very comfortable when Im up there, Hernandez said. Its incredible to be able to tumble on four inches of wood.Something that comes second nature to Hernandez, who regularly turns any random street curb into a chance to practice. She did it on her way to the venue on Monday, helping calm any lingering jitters.I dont really think about it, Hernandez said. I could probably sprint on the beam if I want to.The medal also gave the relentlessly charismatic Hernandez a chance to step into the spotlight after national team coordinator Martha Karolyi opted to keep her budding star out of the all-around competition during qualifying. Hernandez accepted the assignment without complaint, her voice among the loudest in the arena during Biles gold-clinching floor exercise. Biles returned the favor after Hernandez stuck her dismount, the two good friends laughing during the seemingly interminable wait for the score. She does those same exact routines in practice, Biles said. Im so glad she could share that with the world and show how hard shes been training.Hernandez turned professional shortly before arriving in Rio and could fill the void at the top of the U.S. program if Biles decides to take a break after the games. True stardom awaits her once she returns home, a notion Biles is vaguely aware of but trying to tune out. She still considers herself normal even as other Olympic athletes stop her in the village to pose for selfies or say Hi.There will be a sense of relief when she finishes her Brazilian-themed floor routine on Tuesday, an event where shes the reigning world champion and put on a display during the all-around final that Karolyi called the closest thing to perfection in the sport. One momentary lapse on Monday did nothing to diminish Biles extraordinary time in Rio.Also Monday, Ri Se Gwang of North Korea took gold in mens vault, followed by Denis Abliazin of Russia and Kenzo Shirai of Japan. Eleftherios Petrounias of Greece powered his way to gold on still rings. Arthur Zanetti of Brazil took silver with Abliazin capturing bronze.
