big boost in the frontcourt for the Ducks

  • July 2, 2019
The Oregon men’s basketball team received a verbal commitment on Monday from forward Eugene Omoruyi, a transfer https://www.uobasketballjersey.com/payton-pritchard-jersey-c-3.html from Rutgers with one season left to play in college.

Omoruyi will have to sit out next season unless he can receive a waiver from the NCAA to be declared eligible.

Omoyuri led the Scarlet Knights with 13.8 points and 7.2 rebounds
last season while starting 26 of 28 games. He shot 44.5 percent from the
field https://www.uobasketballjersey.com/jordan-bell-jersey-c-1.html, including 31.1 percent on 3 pointers, while also getting 2.4 assists per game.

Omoyuri, a native of Rexdale, Ontario , averaged 2.4 points as a freshman before getting 7.9 points and 5.0 rebounds as a sophomore.

If Omoyuri is able to get eligible immediately, it would be a big boost in the frontcourt for the Ducks https://www.uobasketballjersey.com/casey-benson-jersey-c-2.html,
who currently have seven players on scholarship for next season. Bol
Bol, Kenny Wooten, and Louis King all left early for the NBA Draft while
Miles Norris transferred to UC Santa Barbara.

The only returning forward M.J. Cage Jersey for Oregon is Francis Okoro, but the Ducks signed freshman forwards C.J. Walker and Chandler Lawson.
