House Bill 2278

  • May 16, 2017
seeks to make it unlawful for individuals to carry a
firearm for self-defense into a state or municipal-owned medical care
facility, including the Kansas University Hospital. This legislation
goes further to prevent the lawful carry of a firearm into community
health centers and state or municipal-owned adult care homes. This bill
is a solution in search of a problem, and it places an arbitrary
boundary on your right to self-defense.
